We collect and check the information required to meet Know Your Customer and anti-money-laundering obligations through our partners.

Activity is monitored on a risk basis so that unusual or suspicious behaviour can be identified and acted on.

This distinction matters, so we want to be clear about it.
Regulated partners hold funds
Customer funds are held and moved by regulated payment and wallet infrastructure partners. These partners are responsible for the safekeeping and movement of money.
Smartlyy does not hold customer money
Smartlyy provides the technology and customer experience. Smartlyy itself does not hold customer funds. We connect you to regulated partners who do.

We think it's important to be precise about where we are, rather than imply approvals we don't yet hold.
